How fast is your Service?
This is the most commonly asked question. Our basic residential service is approximately 30 times faster than dial-up. You will be able to receive most emails instantly. Surfing the internet will be instant.
Is Wireless Internet Secure?
Megawire Strives to keep our Network Secure, Banking and other Encrypted services work with ease over our network
Does Weather Effect Service?
For the most part, Wireless Terrestrial Microwave Internet Is not effected by weather, however in extreme cases of electrical storms or severe winds, service can be diminished.
Do I have to Sign a Contract?
Megawire does not hold any of their basic clients at this time to any term contracts. Megawire bills on a quarterly basis in which is our contract.
What are your support hours?
Megawire phone support is available Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 8pm, Friday 8:30am - 5pm and Sunday 9am - 5pm. Email support response is within 24 hours.
Is there a cost for a site survey?
Megawire does not charge for site surveys at the preset time. Site surveys are normally completed within 72 hours.
What happens if I have no service?
If your service goes out please contact customer support at 1-888-405-8946 during business hours. Our service rep will try and diagnose the problem and remedy the issue over the phone. If it is determined that there is a problem at the premises, techs will be dispatched.
How many Email Addresses are included?
With all residential Wireless Internet Packages we include 10 email addresses.
Can I use a Wireless Router?
Absolutely! Our Hardware supports all manufacturers routers that are currently on the market.
